Call for post-doctoral positions PGMAT/UFF 2018-2

The Graduate Program in Mathematics (PGMAT-UFF) is accepting applications for two post-doctoral positions in Mathematics, with PNPD/CAPES fellowships starting from the 5th of November and from the 3rd of December 2018, respectively.
We are looking for candidates with a research track record, and who have obtained (or will obtain) his doctoral degree between the 1st of November 2013 until the 1st for November of 2018.
The fellowship comprises a monthly stipend of R$ 4.100,00 together with additional funds for attending conferences and collaborating. This is a two-year position, with an initial offer for one year, and renewable for a further year subject to a favourable evaluation of the first year report. In exceptional circumstances, a second one year renewal may be granted.
The post-doc might be asked to teach courses at undergraduate or graduate level, depending on the seasonal demand. In this case, the teaching load will be at most one course per term.
