Master Program (Old Structure 2015-2022)

Our M.Sc. Program was created in 1970 and reshaped in 1991. Since 2012, we are grade 5 (max 7) from CAPES. Our concentration areas are Algebra, Algebraic Geometry, Analysis, Applied Math, Differential Geometry, Dynamical Systems and Topology.

Degree Requirements

In order to obtain our M.Sc. degree, the student must complete:

  • 9 M.Sc. level courses (see list below)
  • Qual Exam (M.Sc. level);
  • English Exam;
  • M.Sc. Dissertation.

Currently, our Qual Exam is composed of two areas: Real Analysis and Linear Algebra.
